How to stop overthinking

Hello lovesđź’— Welcome to my first post! Here you can find easy, practical ways to ease and reduce overthinking wheter it's about some embarrasing moment, or about serious situations.


Overthinking, or excessive analysis of things is a common phenomenon that occurs when a person focuses on a problem or situation so intensely that they begin to question every aspect of it, even the less important ones.


People often tend to overthink because they feel like that's going to help them to be in a better position to solve a problem. They want to hold a situation under their control beacause that makes them feel safe and secure. 


We all know how exhausting that can be, you just want to stop your thoughts but they just keep spinning even faster...you feel worried, scared, or embarrased, and you just want to find the way to feel better and to find the solution. 


Whether it's about some embarrasing moment you can't stop thinking about, or you have a huge problem going on..about anything it might be, overthinking will not help you. 

Even if the worst scenario happens, overthinking will not help or prepare you to solve that situation, actually it drains your energy. Rather have some rest, meditate and say positive affirmations to yourself; those things will actually help you to be more grounded, energized and to do your best. So, overthinking is pointless. 

Ofcourse, It doesn't mean that you mustn't think about your problems; know the difference between constructive thinking and overthinking. 

Constructive thinking helps you to find a solution and make wise decisions, it makes you feel better, while overthinking leaves you anxious, it makes you feel like there's no solution. 

  • Practise dettachment, be in gratitude for things in your life, and be at peace with whatever happens. 


  • Vizualize how you want things to work out.


You attract people and situations that are on the same frequency as yours. 

When you vizualize, you are matching frequency of desired outcome, so, if you are on the same frequency as your desires, you'll attract them into your reality. 



Ask yourself:

  • Do I have another options? 
  • Is negative thinking going to help me? 
  • What would you say to your loved ones if they had that kind of thoughts? 
  • Do I predict in advance of what did not happened yet? 


•Here are some affirmations that might help you to relax and shift your focus to a positive direction:

♡Universe has always helped me, and always will. 


☆Everything always works out in my favor. 


♡I am the only creator of my life, and I choose abundance. 


☆My reality is filled with prosperity, abundance and miracles.


♧Wherever I go, luck follows me. 


◇I can manifest whatever I want. 


♡I am no longer there, it's not on me to worry about what happened.


♡I am not what happened to me. I am free from my past. 


☆Everything is a lesson, after which I am stronger. 


☆The stronger and wiser I am, the closer I am to my dreams.
